I Still Have a Hallelujah

Personal note:

There were years where I literally couldn’t listen to music…
because it was too painful.

I had lost my song.

And in those moments, praising God didn’t come easy at all.
Sometimes it didn’t come at all.

But somewhere, deep down, something remained.

Not a loud voice.
Not a perfect faith.
But a quiet hallelujah.

This song is a reminder that even when the song feels gone…
even when worship feels out of reach…
there can still be something left.

And sometimes, that small, fragile hallelujah
is the strongest one of all.

When the praises don’t come easy
And it’s hard to lift my hand to You
When life takes my breath away
And I’m barely holding on to faith

I still have a hallelujah
When my heart has lost its song
Yeah I still have a reason to rejoice
Even on the darkest days
When it seems all hope is gone
I still have a hallelujah
When my heart has lost its song

When my fears just won’t stay quiet
And doubt is raging deep inside my soul
When my heart is about to break
That’s when grace steps in and makes me brave

I still have a hallelujah
When my heart has lost its song
Yeah, I still have a reason to rejoice
Even on the darkest days
When it seems all hope is gone
I still have a hallelujah
When my heart has lost its song

When the burdens bring me to my knees
That’s when I look to You, Lord
And all You’ve done for me

I still have a hallelujah
When my heart has lost its song
Yeah, I still have a reason to rejoice
Even on the darkest days
When it seems all hope is gone
I still have a hallelujah
When my heart has lost its song
